Which Super Smash Bros. do you like better the Original or Melee? The Original has my vote...I don't know why but I just didn't like Melee I couldn't get into that game.

Melee by far. Much of the advanced stuff in melee like WD didn't even exist in the original. And there's more characters and stages in melee etc. I simply like melee more because I think just about everything improved in melee.
I like Melee better. Same concept, all the same characters, plus some new ones. And its on a newer system. And the trophies are fun to get. I DID like the Sylph Co. level, though......
EDIT: How could you "not get into it"? Its the exact same thing! Just a little more jazzed up.

I like Melee more. Mostly because my favorite character is Marth. >.>
What I meant to say is I never gotten excited over Melee.
SSBM is tons better. Better music, better stages, and more features than the original

Melee is better in every way, in my opinion. Still, the 64 version is my favourite 64 game.
The only thing the original Smash Bros. has that Melee lacks, in my opinion, is the nostalgia factor.

i liked the original better cos its the game that started it all. Plus it's one of the few games that has given me over 300 hours of gameplay value.
Melee because it's the original with more stuff and just overall better. They kept the same system, and just added a lot more fun stuff.
Well, there's nothing in Smash Bros. I'd consider nostalgic, really. I was more thinking of the feelings I'd get from playing it, since it's an N64 game and all.I must disagree. I think the Balloon Fight trophy brought back more nostalgic feelings than anything in Smash Bros. 64.
Melee is better because they made 1-Player Mode much more developed and entertaining, and they adjusted the difficulty a bit so it's easy for beginners, yet challenging for veterans.
