How or where do you get Elixirs? i cant find any at all.

you can buy them on the moon. they also show up in some treasure chests and monster item drops.

The Hummingway Home, to be exact. You can find it by going south of the Lunar Subterrane.

you can also buy them in the town in the Lunar Ruins if you have the GBA version.
