The only thing I knew of Grace Jones before Chris entered my life is that she was in that James Bond movie, and the Conan movie. I didn't knew she sang and all, although I saw one of her CD's in the store last week. Grace Jones is such a beautiful name though. You'd expect it on a cute and tender girl like Marilyn Monroe, but instead it's on this beast of a human. It's weirdHer name should be Charles Manson.
Oh, god.... I know some stuff. If only 'cause I'm a scifi/fantasy fan and she sorta squeezes herself in like some kind of amorphous jellyfish thingy. Frankly, I don't get the hype. Or why, after the first time she was seen on film, anyone let her do it again.

This was the first time I had ever heard of Grace Jones, when this made the news. After that, the only reason I can think of her is because of Chris.
I think it's pretty amazing that a lot of people here learn about Grace Jones solely because of Chris. It's tough getting the word out about your favorite artists (even as a radio DJ!) and it's quite impressive what Chris has managed to do. Well done.
