What kind of gift should I get for this guy I know for his graduation party?

An honourary graduation bear, of course! Der ya ha! You get a bear, keep it in a cage for a couple of weeks, don't feed it much the whole time, and then you bring it out at his graduation party. Beforehand, you'll need to do the honourary smearing your friend in honoury lard, of course. Then, as with any gift, you just see how things play out.
