    Can anyone think of any funny sounding mistranslations you've heard? Not just from games?

    1. All your base are belong to us.
    2. Somebody set up us the bomb.
    (and almost everything from Zero Wing or whatever its name is xD)

    Anyway when I went to China I saw horrible mistranslations everywhere. Like "The Great Wall Welcome to You" as the huge billboard sign right on the road near the entrance and many others Oooh in this park or something, there were the patches of brown dead grass and a sign that said "Luxuriant Grassland, Do Not Trample" or something like that, made me laugh I took pictures next to the sign.

    Haha! I could come up with some perverted thoughts about that, but let's not get into it this time.

    The best mistranslations pretty much come from Zero Wing and Final Fantasy IV, although FFVII's PSX version also has some great ones (however, they're fixed in the PC version).

    Most of those GBA Rockman games I've heard have hilarious ones. My friend showed me this particular, "What a polite young man she was". xD

    There are quite alot though...incompetent translators.

    I once saw an arcade shooter that had a map including the 'Mediterranean See'.

    engrish.com is the best place for non-video game mistranslations. They have something against Zero Wing though. Too bad, because it's the ultimate in funny bad translations.
