Slow graphics in the Opera...
I'm playing FF6 on the SNES right now, and for some reason, the scenes at the Opera House moved a lot slower that the melodies were playing.
When Celes was walking the castle gates, the lyrics showed up about five seconds after they'd been sung.
Celes herself also moved very, very slowly, in fact so slowly that I was afraid that she wouldn't make it up to the top before next scene was about to start.
What it this?
Busted cartridge/SNES. Nothing much you can do.
There is no signature here. Move along.

When choosing what language to have Celes sing in, make sure that you didn't select Portuguese. It takes Celes a couple of seconds to translate the lyrics in her head before she can sing them, thus the timing can be off. :chef:
