Sometimes it can be misinturpreted (sp) as in some players jump out of the way of a tackle but don't land on ther feet. I mean Steven Reid, was against Bolton i think and one of their players tried to slide tackle him, and Reidy reacted just in time to jump out of the way but didn't land on his feet, though the ref thought he was diving and proceeded to book him. Not saying we don't dive, because Savage does do it from time to time, not with the intent to Ronaldo takes it though.

Personally i don't see Gerrard the diving type, though if your running in the box and someone pushes you and your in that position where your body looks as if it going faster than your legs and struggling to stay on your feet, first instinct is to go down, if you understand where i'm coming from with that.
