Behaving like Nikki, well i suppose your right, i am arguing over something pointless(manure), you got me on that one.

    Anyways, just drop it.

Bellamy, scored 13 league goals in league 27 games, he's the best striker Liverpool got, even if Kyut came in. Infact it's the bargain buy of this season, we could of easily got 10-12 mill from Liverpool, if it wasn't for the clause.

Also, Torres has said that he wanted to stay at A. Madrid about a week ago, so i very much doubt he won't be going anywhere.

That's the team that had the success that pushed the gap on Chelsea in a way that wasn't done in the first half of the season.

At the start of this season...

    Defenders: Neville, Ferdinand, Brown/Vidic, Heinze
    Midfield: Ronaldo, Carrick, Scholes, Giggs/Park.

You tell me which looks stronger, last season or this season?
This season does indeed look stronger, but you're not factoring things like fatigue (Manchester United went of of the Champions League earlier than the other three English teams) and form into the equation. Success last year does not mean success in the following season. Look at Arsenal's invincibles.
I'm not saying Liverpool don't have a chance, but only a fool writes off Manchester United at any point of the season, let alone before it has even begun.
I'm not writing them off. What I'm saying is they need to make a couple of signings if they want to push for the top. Right now they have a good side. A very good side, in fact. But it's lacking something. The weak spot is clearly the midfield quartet - Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, possibly even Tottenham and Newcastle have stronger midfields than that. And what happens if, well, it's more of a when than if, a couple of midfielders get injured? O'Shea and Fletcher get called up for duty? Or what if Rooney and Saha are ruled out for a couple of games? In come Rossi and Solksjaer? Not really the strike partnership of Premiership champions, if you ask me.

Giggsy and Scholesy are most certainly not too old, though. Any respectable football fan would know that. Midfielders can generally go on to about 35 or so with ease enough, I'd say.
The difference with Teddy and the other two is that pace - the attribute which players lose the fastes as they age - was never a part of his game, whereas Giggs's game was based around his surging runs and dribbling on the left flank, and Scholes's was set up around his undetected runs into the box, both of which will suffer.

Defensive and central midfielders can play at a good level until 35 or so, sure, but wingers and attacking midfielders like Giggs and Scholes? I don't think so. Look at Zidane - yes, he was scintilating in one or two games in the World Cup, but throughout the season with Real Madrid, and indeed against Switzerland and South Korea, he was largely a sulky passenger.

Craig Bellamy is a proven Premiership goalscorer, notching up a goal every other game last season. Considering that out top goalscorer was Steven Gerrard, I'd say a striker who can find the net is what we need. And at £6m, he's a bargain compared to £8m+ for Andy Johnson.

Kuyt? Don't rule him out of signing for Liverpool just yet, but sure, he can score a few goals in the Dutch league, but so can Mateja Kezman. If we do sign him I'll be pleased, but there's no guarantee he won't be another Cisse or Morientes - expensive players with incredible records abroad, but couldn't adapt to the Premiership. As for signing players who are no better than the present ones, to me it makes perfect sense. Liverpool now have two decent players in every single position. Fatigue, injuries, lack of form, suspensions - all of these can be devastating if teams don't have the right amount of cover, look at Arsenal's defensive issues last season.

This was days after Roy Keane tried to do an anti-diving campaign with wristbands then he goes and does this.

Errrr.... Keane doesn't play for Manure anymore, I think it's Celtic. Chelsea are worse divers then Man U, you gotta admit.

Arsenal are the worst divers, but every other club is full of them. It's (sadly) part of football these days.

Keane doesn't play for Celtic or United. He doesn't play. He's retired. He's doing his UEFA courses so he can be a coach/manager.

I know he doesn't play for them anymore, infact he's retired now, in just saying people might wonder why it is i hate them so much, that being what got me started hating them and Keane back then.

I know Chelsea do it, though most of it comes from Drogba, that's why i don't like him either.

Anyone who complains about diving better not start naming every other player and team but their own, because any fan who says their players don't dive is either ignorant or a liar. Every team has divers - in fact, I'd say the percentage of divers in teams is above 50%, probably more like 80-90% on average. That means almost every player on every team dives. So stop complaining about teams and start complaining about diving in general. Otherwise it's a pointless debate that only makes you a hypocrite (on some level).

Meanwhile, Senna is about to sign for Manchester United.

Most players don't announce in front of newspaper and tv reporters that diving should be a stamp out of the game by wearing wristbands, then blatantly go and do it the following match.
