I like magic materia just because it's green.
I like summon materia cause of Knights of the Round
I like them all, although I'd probably favor Command the most. Mime, W-Item, 2/4x Cut, you can make a powerhouse, and make limitless Gil. Of course, through most of the game, you rely on Support* and Magic Materia, so meh.
*Counter/Mime> All.
Which ever one has 4x Cut.

I'd say Magic. Just because there is a huge variety of spells to chooses from.
After that I would pick Black Materia. I’m pretty sure thats is how Sephiroth can use Supernova.

magic. i guess it makes sense that black materia lets him use supernova. i use a lot of other materias but magic because of the great variety.

I chose Summon, becuase Summons have always intregued me, but I also like the Command.....mostly for the enemy skill though....*clears throat*

Well, I myself am a smacking brute in RPGs, so I'm not much of a magic user. Basically the only magic I use are the healing spells. So, yeah, the independent is my favorite. All of the HP boosts and using Mega All. Of course, you don't have much to use all in conjunction with without command materia, which is my second favorite. After that support, then summon, and then magic materia. Don't much care for the Holy and Black, though I'd say I like Holy better because Aeris is my fav character and that's who uses it.
Command materia is my favorite, can make yourself nearly unstoppable.
