I never really noticed it before! But...Well,how ironic. xD This wouldn't be the first time they had done something similar, that is, if they really did make her to look like Aeris. =D We may never know.

2) characters may be designed to resemble another (personality/looks/etc)

I actually think Aeris resembles Quistis. They have the same color and type of clothes, and the exact same hair style. Not to mention they're both a pain in the ass.:rolleyes2

Aerith and Quistis dont have the same hairstyle. Quistis' is pinned up, while Aerith's is in a ponytail.
Anyway, the Queen of Cards is seen so vaguely in that scene that I dont see the resemblance to Aerith at all. She has dark hair that seems to be in a ponytail, and is wearing a dress. The dress, however, seems to be white to me, not pink.

They still have it over the front of their shoulders. I don't care what anyone else says, I think they're similar!!!
