System restore
When I try to estore my system, it won't do it. My computer got raped with a virus todaynad I need to get rid of it. I can't re-install windsow the disk todo so is in florida and I ahev no money for anti-virus software atm. is there anything I can do!?
Download AVG. Google it, its a free anti-virus program. That is, if the computer even works.

No problem, If I recall right, this program helped me alot, since I had McAphee, and that thing is crap in my opinion.

That would be a huge hassle.
huge hassle or not... it might be the only way to restor your computer
well you see, I have a laptop. The screen and keyboard are borken, so I would need to hook stuff up and pay money to fix it. I'm broke I need a free way to do this if there is one. Is there any way I can fix my system restore? ANd unless they're willign to put a new wondows on it I don't think they can do much, I don't have the install disk or I wouldn't have this problem.
Have any friends with the Windows Disk?

- hopefully the AVG works, as it is what I would suggest. That or clam. Portable clam from www.portableapps.com should work

Why won't it do a system restore? Try an earliar date or something... Are you trying to do a system restore from an Administrative account or not? I don't know how much that'd affect it but who knows.
I've tried every possible restore point, and this si an adminstrative account, the only account on the computer.
