You get one after you defeat the Ark. The other pieces can be obtained here:

- Chocograph 22, Outer Island 2

- Steal one from Ozma

- Synthesise a Pumice and a Hammer.

Ark is an Eidolon. You don't fight him.

The only ways to get Pumice is if you defeat Ozma, you can't steal it from him. The other way is if you go Hades's Synthesis Shop and synthesize two Pumice Pieces.

Yes you do. You fight him in Oielvert, or however it's spelled. He's a boss. =_=
