Again, Scrapped Princess is made by BONES, the same folks who did Full Metal Alchemist. That particular studio has been pumping out high quality and enjoyable shows since RahXephon, which was their first show produced by themselves. They previously worked on Escaflowne, doing the animation.

If you liked Evangelion, I highly suggest RahXephon. If you didn't like Evangelion, then I reccommend RahXephon even more strongly. It's a lot friendlier (the characters aren't annoying), yet it's still very much a show where you have to think and re-watch to get the full story. And the dub is pretty good.
