    Default Ungarmax > Omnislash...

Did you believe that Omnislash was the ultimate Limit Break in this game?
No, it isn't, it's actually Ungarmax.
I mean, think about it: Omnislash hits about 16 times or something, while Ungarmax pounds the enemies about 30 times!
Moreover, both of these Limit Breaks can be boosted to 9999 DMG per hit, and everyone knows that
    9999*30 > 9999*16.

Actually, even the Highwind is superior; it's basically Ungarmax with different graphics.

Sure, but maxing the damage with Angermax is much harder than with Omnislash. I believe you need to use like 3 hero drinks.

Yeah, and I prefer maxing out Omnislash because it's faster and much more cool-looking.

Ungarmax is Barret's Lv3-2 Limit Break.

Doom of the Living hits 15 times with a power of 5/8x base.
Omnislash hits 15 times with a power of 3/4x base. All hits are automatically critical.
Ungarmax hits 18 times with a power of 1/2x base.
Highwind hits 18 times with a power of 11/16x base.

Usually Omnislash will deal more damage, unless you use 3-4 Hero Drinks to even out the differences in base power, in which case the extra hits of Ungarmax and Highwind make them better.

Yeah, Omnislash does the trick anyway. It's not like you'll ever be in a situation that you'll NEED a limit break just slightly better than omnislash... plus, omnislash just looks insanely badass.

The point is that without cheating, getting enough hero drinks to make Angermax consistently better would take a lot of time. As far as I know, you only get two through the game, and the rest must be won in Chocobo Racing, and it's a rather rare prize.

Yuffie's Lv3-2 Limit Break, the other main multi-hitting limit break mentioned in various strategies.

    Vaan - "Hey, you!"
Penelo - "Yeah, you! The one reading this sig at this very moment!"
Vaan - "Interested in playing FFXII International Zodiac Job system?"
Ashe - "But you have no knowledge of the Japanese language?"
    Fran - "....We could help...."
Balthier - "That's right, Fran! Just click on Crossblades' thread on the very bottom of this signature and it will show you all license grid translations, magicks and tecks locations, and other changes that were made!"
Basch - "Don't forget though. Swap Magic is needed to play this game if you don't own a japanese PS2."
Vaan - "Also remember that if you played the original, you'll have an easier time playing the international version. We hope you enjoy the International Zodiac Job System experience. See ya then!"

Most people (that aren't dense) would get alot of Hero Drinks through W-Item. (I certainly wouldn't waste my time with Chocobo Racing, myself.)
    Yes, Angermax is very awesome.

I also like Angermax's shorter animation, rather than Omnislash.

That is what I refer to as cheating.
I still do it myself though :].

HA. I actually used that method with Kotr to beat Emerald. Took a lot longer though as I only had one mastered Magic Counter and 2 Kotrs. The other Kotr was paired with HP absorb. That's the only time I beat the weapon. I should really put more effort in.
