Do you rely on the game ratings?

I dont take them very seriously, but I do look at reviews just to see if the game I intend to buy is worth my money. I have bought games that have had terrible reviews, and still loved.

I'm pretty sure we're talking about content ratings, like the ESRB.

Im 13. My parents dont give a crap ubout what i play. Why? because im not a friggin idiot. My dad laughs when i play GTA. I feel no need to run around stealing cars and killing people. My mom cares more for some reason. Ive played worse games than Blitz the League but she told me I could only play it at my dads house which doesnt make sense because im still playing it. I snuck God of War past her though
