Pain of anima does not kill any boss instantly but ZANMATO can kill anything wether its penance or nemesis lolzorz!!

How can you compare Yojimbo to Odin? Odin is like the best summon in the whole series. (At his best in ff8). Yojimbo is crap. 50% of the time I dont even bother getting him. (screw anima)

I was also thinking about Shadow and Interceptor when I saw Yojimbo and his dog. Ability-wise, though, I think Yojimbo's quite similar to Odin.

Meh.... as has been said, he's alot closer to a Gilgamesh. I like Yojimbo more though.... because you choose when he comes. (I've never had a Zanmato, damned NTSC version, but Wakizashi is pretty useful once you power up the Masamune.)
