Woah, I just downloaded some videos from FileFront and on disk 2 there was actually a scene of Garden being destroyed, instead of it flying away from the missiles. I never knew you could have that! How in the world do you continue the game if Garden has been blown up??

If you fail to calibrate the Error Ratio of the missiles while inside the Missile Base, Balamb Garden will indeed be destroyed. It results in a game over screen.
Oh, right. Where would you find out that you destroyed Garden, would it be after the missile base part?

hehe, it'd be worth having a game over just to see that sequence full size. sweet.
but doesnt that mean you may have to start the game all over again? because most people if they missed out the error ratio part would just overwrite that save file and play on until they realize its impossible to continue. ive never known an FF to do that. ill watch the FMV on youtube.

Wow, I thought that I'd seen everything about FFVIII, but I'd never seen that! I guess it's a pretty uncommon thing to do though, I mean it's made pretty clear that the whole point of the missle base section is sabotage
