Try letting rikku mix alot of things while tidus and wakka attack also while Tidus heal

i am gonna give it a try see what happens. Thing is i am out of bombs so really using rikku isn't gonna work that well. I can't afford any high potions to mix with potins to majke mega potions so thats kinda out of the question too. Thanks Gabrielo for the link!

You can beat this thing in two easy steps, and you can essentially do it with Rikku and Yuna alone.

First things first though, before the fight, go back to the agency and buy 2 maps from O'Aka. Get Rikku and Yuna into overdrive. Now you're set.

Have your starting party be Rikku, Yuna, and whomever. BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING ELSE, BE SURE EVERYONE PERFORMS AN ACTION TO GET THE AP AT THE END OF THE FIGHT!!! After that, Rikku should mix those 2 maps I told you to buy to make a beautiful Potato Masher, which will overkill the Negator. Yuna should go next, have her Grand Summon Ixion and Thor's Hammer the place up. Thundara it until it Mana Beams you, Ixion has exceptional magic defense and should survive it without Shield, you can shield on the turn before Mana Beam if you want to play it safe though. Thundara on yourself to heal and keep up the Thundara assault on Crawler. If you're lucky, you'll get into overdrive again before the fight ends. Use it for a wonderful overkill.

Grenades are sold at the Al Bhed shop right before the fight with the Crawler.

There are many different ways to bring down that negator besides Wakka's ball. You can bring in Rikku who will use Grenades (they target both the Negator and the Crawler), Wakka's ball, obviously, and Kimahri's Lancet (although it doesn't do much damage, it's better than nothing I say).

Before the big boss fight, train on the fiends just outside the Al Bhed shop. Bring Yuna's, Lulu's and Ixion's overdrive to the top. Once the negator is down and out, bring in Lulu to cast her overdrive, Thundara Rage, bring in Tidus to cast Slow on the Extractor (or use Tidus' slowtouch weapon bought at Luca at the beginning of the battle) and then have Yuna summon Ixion. Pay attention to the CTB bar. Perform an attack/overdrive, up until the Crawler says 1 turn left until mana beam. When that happens, heal (if you need to), and you MUST use Shield on your last attack before the Mana Beam. It will do a measly 200 damage if Yuna has been properly trained. Heal yourself with thunder, and attack. Don't let the Crawler get two attacks in a row when it has one turn left before the Mana Beam. In fact, don't let the Crawler get any turns in a row.
