right we all know that vivi died at the end of ff9 well like aeris he is alaive and well in kingdom hearts 2. unfortunalty vivi is the only ff9 charictur to apper in kingdom hearts 2 but is with seither rajin and fujin in a group called the disaplenary commitee.

Nomura designed the characters in FFVII, FFVIII, FFX and FFX-2, hence why they were included in KH and KH2 (Nomura's the director for both KH games). The FFIX characters were not designed by Nomura, so he was less inclined to include any of them. However, due to Vivi's popularity he decided to back down and put him in the game.

Vivi did die G Spotz. There are lots of signs in what he says at the end that you can tell.
Man I didnt know Vivi actually died. I knew he would someday, but I thought he had survived at the end of 9.
It would be cool to have some of pre-playstation game characters in the game as well to see what they would look like in decent graphics.
But since alot of folks did not start playing final fantasy before the playstation days alot of gamers probably wouldn't recognize them and there would be no sense of nostalgia (which is the purpose of the final fantasy characters in the game).
as this is ff9 i thougt you wold be intersted in vivi. no other ff9 charicturs are in KH2. the other new ff people in KH2 are
