IRON GIANT HELP

Hi,

Can anybody please tell me where the Iron Giant is? I am working on my bestiary and all is left to find is the Iron Giant. Where do you encounter it?

Pandaemonium, on the fifth floor.

It's a VERY rare random encounter. Actually it's probably less rare in DoS (which I'm assuming you're playing), but it'll take a while. Just keep fighting, you'll find it eventually.

Out of curiousity, what happens if you defeat it? Does it drop rare items or something? I haven't encountered it at all on a ROM or Origins, only once in DoS.

It can drop the Excalibur(good), the Aegis Sheild(good), and the Genji eqipment(not good).

Thanks. I appreciate the help, but I'm still unable to find the Iron Giant. Is there any specific room I can encounter it? i.e the room with the masamune in it?

I remember encountering it on the bridge over the four doors. (Where you teleport to the first 'outer-space' room.) I don't know if it's the same for all versions.

I have never found it in the masamune room, and that's my all-purpose level-whore spot. It's on the higher floors. Just be patient, it's very rare.
