A rare heartless?
I was in Santa's House (Halloween Town) doing a mini-game. After I did it I went back to Candy Cane Lane and the Info Bar came up and it said 'Defeat the rare heartless!' But by the time I read it and looked back down it was gone.. Has anyone elese gotten this before? I tried restarting the game and everything but it never came back.

I've only run into two of these. It's basically like a gumball dispener, and you get a (random?) synthesizable item from it. Even if it's not inside something, it should be hiding around a corner or something.
they seem to be the KH2 equivelent of the heartless mushrooms, and like Xaven said, their like gumball dispensers. You havve to be fast in order to get to them before they disapear.

Beast’s Castle (L36), 770 HP
Olympus Coliseum (L39), 820 HP
Agrabah (L40), 840 HP
Halloween Town (L41), 860 HP
Depending on the Reaction Command used on it, it will either drop a
Bright Shard, Stone, Gem, or Crystal, and a small chance of a Orichalcum. After you obtain all the Orichalcums in the game, this is the only way to obtain more. This DOES NOT DROP ORICHALCUM+.

Drops Bright Shard (100%), Orichalcum (8%)
Rare Capsule (HP between 74-50%)
Drops Bright Stone (100%), Orichalcum (10%)
Limited Capsule (HP between 49-25%)
