Ok first off sorry if this has already been discussed but I'm not about to read 13 pages of Viator's "I'm right because I say so and your wrong because you didnt read my last 10 threads" crap.
I think the reason it says Time Absorbtion or whatever when you scan Ulti is because in the world of FF8 time is not infinite and so all time must be absorbed into a single point and then it will be compressed. Kind of like if you are cooking, you get all the ingridients together in one place (time absorbtion) and then you mix them all together (time compression).
Edit: BTW how the hell did the knights ever let this get to 13 pages anyway
