Ok the amount of space between my fully stretched index and thumb is larger then a sony PSP. Here's a pic of the thumb and index stretched out. I'm double jointed in my fingers btw.

Thumb to pinky (fully stretced out) 8 inches. Index, slightly under 3, middle about 3.5, ring 3, pinky little over 2.5. People say I have freakishly long fingers.

From my thumb to little finger across my outstretched hand is 16.5cm. Index finger is 7cm long and middle finger is 7.5cm.
I have a similar problem playing guitar, I can only reach 4 frets near the head of the guitar. 5 frets is torture.

I'd put my hand against the screen like you did but I'd look like a moron in college. My hands are quite big, as are my fingers. Bah, I don't have a ruler handy! I really should be more equipped in college...

Edit: Also, keep in mind your screen resolution is going to determine how big your finger apparently is. Someone who measured a finger on 800×600 is going to look like a midget when someone with 1280×1024 looks at it. [/geek]

Pretty short. They are miniture. I would only say about 2-3 inches long. Yep, pretty short.

My index finger is a little over 3 inches long. Middle is close to 4, ring is about the same as index and pinky is a couple of notches below 3. I can stretch my fingers pretty well; caterpillar is probably the reason. Caterpillar. Caterpillar caterpillar caterpillar.
