I went to see it yesterday. I was quite pleased with it.

It was awesome, I saw it yesterday. There was this preppy girl a few rows ahead and she kept jumping in her seat at some of the scenes and what appeared to be her boyfriend kept laughing at her. lol.
I didn't know about the third movie stuff before I went in and watched it and when it ended like that all I could say was "Why Disney? Why?"

I thought that movie was great. It met the hype I had for it unlike X-Men and Superman. The beginning was kind of slow but the cliffhanger ending didn't detract from it at all. I left satisfied from what I just saw while still excited about the next movie. Good job Disney .

Some of the characters were inconsistent but that didn't take much away from the whole thing.

(SPOILER)My take on it is that both Jack and Barbosa died. Jack was eaten by the Kraken and Barbosa killed by Jack. Barbosa was brought back from the dead at 'world's end' somehow and I'm assuming that's why they need him to guide them back there. To the land of the dead to rescue Jack and the Black Pearl, who were both destroyed.

Pretty much yeah and since I said that maybe someone will prove me otherwise since that is the pure purpose of some poeple on forums.

You should watch the second one though. I wouldn't say the first one was overrated I mean there has been a dry period for a few years and not many poeple talked about the first one in 2005...

actually, it is worth the money to spend. i think it was way better than the first, and although the way they stopped it kinda sucked ( just because of how good the plot was starting to thicken), i loved it. i would pay to go watch it over and again. and i don't know if anyone else has put this, and if they have sorry, not trying to copy you, but i think that from the way elizabeth was acting toward the end, i believe that when then next movie comes out, her and jack will end up getting together i think anyway, just because of the way they were heating up before the end of the movie. and does anyone know the name of the third movie yet. i read somewhere that it was gonna be Pirates of the Carribean : At Worlds End. is this true.

I don't think her and Jack will get together, it just wouldn't be right. Plus if they did it would pretty take away Will's reason to be in the movie as he's always like "OMG I HAVE TO SAVE ELIZABETH I LOVE HER"

I just saw it yersterday and I must say that it was really great. It was nice with an enjoyable sequel for a change that not only lived up to the first one, but also made one interested about the third one. Great job Verbinski and all of the others...

Your right sequels do normally suck but For once i think they did sumthing right. I saw it fisrt day in theatres and loved it. I can't wait till the third comes out now. ANd i think the third will be just as good as the first and second. And just funny!
