I think The Beatles are one of the best musicians of all time. A lot of bands these days kick off with one really big hit and the rest of their songs seem like spawns of the original. Other musicians stick to a certain type of style, different melodies but more or less developed in the same way as their first song. But when considering the differentiation in the Beatles best hits, they are far more in number than any other band I could possibly imagine. Also notice the individual contribution to the songwriting from each member not to mention the success they've had after their split

I would have to say HORSE The Band, The Blood Brothers, or Between The Buried And Me. Original, amazing stuff.
I've never really found the fuss about bands such as The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, or Queen.
They're average musicians with average music.
If anyone says Green Day, I would die.

Best Song IMO: Invasion from Within (also a boss theme on Disgaea)
My thoughts: oh wow, they are so fricken awesome, they really should have been up there with the best, but the broke up... and were underfunded/underhyped.
this is my faveorite band ^_^

oh come on. Can anyone explain to me how anyone from the beatles has more talent than maynard james keenan or danny carey or jimmy page or ian paice or basically most good rock musicians. God, has anyone realised that the beatles sound more like the goddamn wiggles than anything else, and then they're classified as rock? why? because there were women running around screaming? Meh, i don't get it. "Let's all play some instruments and sing about submarines. No-ones done that yet, everyone will love us". Pfft.
