I played FFIV first, but didn't finish it because I got bored on my way to the final boss (though I always thought Rydia was awesome). Then FFVII, and didn't finish it because (this is not a spoiler, just what happened to me) Cloud opted to switch sides in the final fight and kill everyone, then himself. I was demoralized, so I didn't try again. I did like the game a lot, though. Then I played FFVI, and finished it. I absolutely loved that game, so it's the one that truly got me hooked on FF. Then I finished VIII, and loved that one too. My favorite would have to be a toss up between VI and VIII. I'm on IX now.
Final Fantasy I on the NES back in the day.
FF IV, back in the SNES ages when it was known as FF II. Was bored of it at first, but then fell in love with it when I replayed it
Vaan - "Hey, you!"
Penelo - "Yeah, you! The one reading this sig at this very moment!"
Vaan - "Interested in playing FFXII International Zodiac Job system?"
Ashe - "But you have no knowledge of the Japanese language?"
Fran - "....We could help...."
Balthier - "That's right, Fran! Just click on Crossblades' thread on the very bottom of this signature and it will show you all license grid translations, magicks and tecks locations, and other changes that were made!"
Basch - "Don't forget though. Swap Magic is needed to play this game if you don't own a japanese PS2."
Vaan - "Also remember that if you played the original, you'll have an easier time playing the international version. We hope you enjoy the International Zodiac Job System experience. See ya then!"

When I was 4 or 5, my dad got me and my brother a playstation 1 and FFVII. I didn't understand it at all and we couldn't save anyway because we didn't have a memory card. it was eventually stolen. 4 years later, my brother got FFX and was hooked on it. I decided to give it a whirl and now am hooked and FFX is my favorite FF. Then, I beat FFVIII. Next, I beat FFX-2. After that, I bought another copy of FFVII and beat it. Then, I beat FFIX. And now, I am currently working on FFVI.
So, my FF playing history is:
1. FFVII (didn't beat it)
2. FFX (beat it)
3. FFVIII (beat it)
4. FFX-2 (beat it)
5. FFVII (finally beat it)
6. FFIX (beat it)
7. FFVI (still working on it)
Final Fantasy IX, I loved it, I'm glad my cousin let me play it.
ffVII, and its my fav.

If you don't....
he will cry...
Mine was FFVII, my friend bought it and I soon did the same, we kind of had a race at it but I lost because he had to borrow my Disc 3.
But anyways, my first definitely isn't my favorite
After VII, I played VI because a different friend practically worshipped it, so I opted to give it a try, and I absolutely loved it.
My favorite one out of the ones I've played and beaten
(FFI,IV,VI,VII,IX) is probably IX
I liked FF8 the best. It was fun and had the best characters I think. All except for one I don't like. FF8 was the first one I played actually. My favoritest game ever!
VII.
Final Fantasy Player since I was 5.

The first Final Fantasy game I played was either Final Fantasy 6 or Mystic Quest back in '99. My friend had the ROMs for both games and forgot which one I played first. Well, the first Final Fantasy game I bought was Final Fantasy III/VI for the SNES. Good times, never beat it though. Got to the final part of the game and never beat it.
The first Square game I played was Super Mario RPG for SNES back in '96. I was only 6 years old! Great game. Possibly my favorite Square game ever, but I'm bias like that. It also had a cool FF cameo: the secret boss Culex.
FF8. I was at my mom's then-boyfriend's house and got bored so I played FF8 for the first time and I've been addicted to it ever since.![]()
