Yes. *evil laugh* Ah well, we'll see.

I don't want Rose to die either. Although, I am curious to see who the Doctor's next assisstant person will be. My sister keeps saying 'MICKEY' or 'JACKIE' and that just makes me ;_;.

    One last episode...

I'd guess his new companion is someone new, to be honest. Aside from Jack Harkness, I can't think of many people from the new seasons who would fit - and he's in Torchwood.

    Lol not getting BBCThree.

I heard the choice for the new companion is between Nikki Sanderson (Candice in Coronation Street), Michelle Ryan (Zoe Slater from Eastenders... her head seemed to grow every episode), Freema Agyeman (someone in Casualty) and possibly others. I HATE Michelle Ryan. If it's her I will be seriously pissed.

I watched an episode of this show for the first time ever today, on some channel that I can't remember. It's pretty cool, I wish I would've watched it from the start.

Was everybody else satisfied with the episode? The only thing I would say is that there wasn't enough Dalek/Cybermen battling, but then, the episodes are only forty five minutes, so there probably wasn't enough time.

Also I am a girl and very mushy and oh my god ;_____________; so many things to depress me in that episode. Except the Jackie/Pete thing was very cute.

I am going to cry in a corner for three days now.

Yeah there wasn't enough Cybermen killing Daleks and vice versa.

    Otherwise that totally owned.

The bit at the end is leading into the Christmas special storyline. Catherine Tate.

I felt lied to, she didnt die, or rather she did, but in another Universe
I dont watch Dr Who, but I did watch it last night and thought it was pretty good, little weird how the Dr and Billie can simply hold on to something right next to the portal when Cybermen from India get sucked up.

The things they were holding onto were those weight things that the Torchwood woman had. I dunno, must be something to do with that.

Also I think the Cybermen/Daleks had more of the "void stuff" on them. xD

Yeah. They described what the weight things were in the last episode, but... I forget.

That episode was so... ;_; What Emma said about the episode kinda sums up all I think! The Doctor and Rose's last words to each other... ;_; I can't believe that she's going to be gone!

The weight deelies were nullifiers. If you attach one to something and turn it on, whatever you attach it to becomes weightless.

I have no idea what effect sticking it to a wall would have, but I assumed it was simply functioning in it's capacity as a clamp rather than a gravity manipulator.

And the Doctor explained why they didn't get ripped into it violently - he and Rose and the others had only been through the Void a couple of times, but the Cybermen and Daleks had been there for far, far longer and so the effect it had was far stronger on them.
