Bahamut, Anima, Yojimbo and Shiva are the best ones.
Ifrit, because he actually catches Yuna on his shoulder, which is cool and cute! Anima's my number-two choice. Shiva is third, and the Magus Sisters are fourth. Valefor is fifth and I have no real opinion on Ixion, Bahamut, or Yojimbo.

Yes, Anima's fayth is seymour's mother.
(SPOILER)Yes. She was supposed to become Seymour's Final Aeon, but he balked at using her to destroy Sin, so he entombed her in Baaj Temple and used her power for selfish gain. The most poignant moment in the last battle against Seymour comes if you summon Anima against him and he comments bitterly on her betrayl.
