"tl;dr" happens to be one of my email filters at work Anything is too long (I think I have it set at 100 characters) it gets binned. I refuse to read long pointless emails

Anyway people typing things doesn't get to me so much as them saying it. I went home from college for a weekend and was talking to my brother, and he kept going "This is so sick!" "And that was totally sick!" "Oh man, look at this, it's so sick." "This game is sick!" and ALL the time and it annoyed me so much >=o I was like, no it's not SICK you're sick you sicko bah! *punch* xD

The only times I have read it is when someone is trying to rage another person. tl:dr is such a short abbreviation that it is very hard for the other person who wrote the 'too long' piece not to feel a bit annoyed.

I try not to use any of the internet acronyms, but they slip sometimes. I usually just type things out.
