    i also like the solo from as i am (john petrucci)
    the angel of death solos
    the solos from of sins and shadows

    Wow, I love all of Michael Angelo's work. The guy is a genius.

    But my favorite solo's are all of the solos in Children of Bodom's Kissing the Shadows. The song has a lot of cool guitar and synth melodies throughout, but incase that style of music isn't really your thing the solos can be found starting at 2:35. Oh yeah, and the live version is kind of sloppy, so if you want to check out the polished version just download the song or PM me with your contact details so I can send it.


    And I don't know if these really counts as a solo, but Cacophony's Speed Metal Symphony gets honorable mention.

    I would have to say David Gilmour's solo in Comfortably Numb would have to be one of my favorite solo's of all time. There are many others that are good, but that came to my mind before all others.

    i personaly favor the james/kirk solo from master of puppets them playing the same solo perfectly in sync. its great
