ok in this thread we will talk about anything to do withfinal fantasy 8.

same as my last thread apart from this time (since it was closed down) there will have to be a few rules.
1)no swearing or name calling (no matter how veiled)
2)this is for opinions and debating NOT FOR FIGHTING WITH SOMEONE BECAUSE THEY HAVE A DIFFERENT VIEW THAN YOU!
3)that is about it apart from this was made for people to enjoy so get stuck in!!!

first topic:rinoa did you really have to save her every five minutes as some people say?

You had to save Rinoa 4 times:

~During the Sorceress Parade

~When she was hanging off Balamb Garden

~When she was lost in space

~When she was fused with Adel

Some people may think that's a lot, but I don't think so. I didn't mind saving her, and it's stupid how people hate her just for that. I mean, it's not like she got into those situations on purpose.

oh i hate rinoa because i have to save her which makes her fall in love with squall is a new excuse i heard a while back

Rinoa doesn't always keep up with the group--but that's actually okay. Rinoa, unlike the others, isn't Garden-trained; she's not supposed to be able to handle combat situations as well as trained mercenaries (except Irvine, pretty much) can, even as a member of the Timber Resistance, and that's fine. That's not a reason to hate her any more than, say, Quistis's distance from the group as an ex-Instructor is a reason to hate her.

Yeah that's lame. :rolleyes2

And it's not like you had to go all out of the way to save her. Squall was always in a nearby area when she needed to be rescued, so it wasn't a big deal.
