I know. That's why I don't use them.
Is that your final answer?

As Giiga Guess said...I very much doubt this will ever get off the ground
I'm sure you have you're intentions in the right mind but it just sounds like yet another yound persons attempt to get it big.
You don't just become an animator over night. Go to college and university and get a degree. Then work for years in a small studio working your way up
All the best animators are in their 40s, it takes years to get that good.
Also your story lacks in many things. You may think that its original but its not. Make your own characters not steal them off other people. Its VERY unlikely anyone will sell you the rights to Final Fatasy characters mainly because you're Western. Sorry but the Japanese have a thing about it, they don't like the Western way of animation (well most of them don't, many companies won't let you work with them unless you're Japanese) So you can just drop the idea of using those characters.
Now you'll have to have a team of people helping you, most people in the business will not work with you unless they think its going to sell so you have to spend a long time making them see your way

Sorry about the rant but people telling you "sure go do it" is silly. If you want to make a cartoon go for it, but come up with your own ideas and start the hard work thats gettng into the buisness.

Oh Jesus CHRIST. You just dug up an unforboding memory for me in fifth grade. We were in health class watching this cheesy video about how drugs are bad and and it had Alf, Garfield, Teenaged Mutant Ninja Turtles, the Smurfs, and a bunch of other crap I can't remember right now. That had to be the cheesiest thing that ever existed.
I still have that cartoon on VHS somewhere. That thing is hilarious. Here is my favorite quote from the cartoon

"Got 10 bucks? I know where we can score some crack."

Crack for 10 bucks. If the was that cheap almost anyone could support the habit. Hell...tell me where to get it for that cheap so I can sell it at street value

Your idea isn't going to work.

Unless you are, indeed, a Super Millionare.

EDIT: I was reading your first post more. Vincent has a laser gun, and everyone else has a bunch of weapons. But don't do drugs kids!

Okay, perhaps. I'm planning to do an RPG and two fighting games with these characters, though.

Get an RPG maker or Fighter Maker (or whatever it's called) and make it, then.

As said before, if you use those characters you'll never get the copyright for them.
Seriously MAKE YOUR OWN UP. Surely if you think you're creative enough to do this you can draw and design your own characters

I suggest you listen to the people who said make up your own characters, or else the entire series will have to made up of several hundreds to thousands of parodies. At which point you might as well call it Robot Chicken or Family Guy.

EDIT: And besides, if Pinky's more mature that kills everything even without all the other stuff.
JOY IS A BITCH, but she is so adorable!

It was just like the fighting game with about 1000 characters from every game and tv show and summons and mystic powers and bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla...
