Should I buy FFVIII?

And I like it so far--
yet..I'm not sure if I should get it.

You can't really decide if you'll like a game or not from its FMVs..

At any rate, go try it out and see if you like it for yourself. Don't be overwhelmed by the Junction System though, it's very easy to use in your favor.

Yeah I don't really like the junction system... I know how to use it and all but I still don't like it. It's not that bad though. I'd rather stick to using MP and such.

If you like RPG games then definately get it. Just make sure to pay attention to the Junction tutorials. If you don't understand it then you will have a hard time getting through the game.

Yeah, it's definitely a fun game and well worth a purchase. Just don't expect to be overly impressed by the plot; you will literally cringe at how lame some of the scenes are.

Final Fantasy VIII is one of the greatest hits in the series, IMO. i've played it more than any other game and it's one i would most likely go back and play again.

I don't know how anyone can argue with a surreal ending, of all things. But Zeromus puts surreality above other things when judging games, so that may be why.

Me too. One of my favourite games. I've only recently started a new game . The junction system is confuzzling at first but you'll get the hang of it. Its not as if after the first tutorial is over you cant see how to use it. You can always look in the menu and find out.

Yes you should definitely buy it and try it out. The storyline is great and the graphics are amazing considering it’s on PS1. The junction system does take a while to get used to but the storyline makes it worth it.
