Prime games aren't real Metroid games, of course, but they're still fun as a series of side-stories that don't interact with the main story. Well samus can take a lot more damage then a space pirate can, and space pirates have their own protective gear on. But I very much enjoy these games. Retro should continue making them, and the 2-d versions should continue on the portable system at the very least. Even a side scroller with 3-d graphics could do well on the Wii. You can still have your Wii-mote aim up and down and shoot and the other thing move and jump, but not as a FP.
