    Default The Lost Boys.

I just saw this movie again a couple of days ago, and I've been humming the theme song ever since. The theme is very creepy, with the children voices and all. ><

"Thou Shalt Not kill. Thou Shalt Not Die."

Argh! I first saw this movie back in 1993, and it scared me to death. I've seen it a couple of times since, and now, I'm "Lost Boy" fanBOY. >D

It's a classic vampire flick, and now, perhaps the vampire movie of them all! It became a huge hit when it first came out, and it still have such a large fanbase.

Any thoughts on The Lost Boys?

It was on TV a couple weeks ago here. I still enjoy watching it. It became one of my favorite movies when I first saw it in '88 (I think that's when it was released...maybe '86), and I agree about the theme song. In reality it's a little cheesy at points, but still a good flick. It could have been longer, though. I would have liked to see more of "Star" .

    "Death by stereo."

If you like vampire movies, you should check out Grace's "Vamp" from 1986. It's one of the best vampire movies.

The way I see it, there are loads of bad films about vampires. A couple exceptions, not to mention "Lost Boys", being "Interview With the Vampire" (I think Rice's interpretation is probably the most alluring), and to a slightly lesser extent "Bram Stoker's Dracula." Both novels, of course, being better than the films. But in all vampire films' defense, it is much easier to make a bad vampire movie than it is to make a good one. Most of them just come off as so cliche or cheesy.

I remember my friend borrowing me this some years ago when I entered my Kiefer Sutherland fangirl phase, still there, and it is one of his best movies ever. I love the soundtrack and was listening to it just the other week. Excellent movie.

Isn't that what Peter Pan called his sidekicks.
