i don't hate money ... i just hate some of the things most ppl do to get it ... and selling out (ok ... i am gonna spell it out for you all now ...) is when you r more interested in the money than the quality of the product.

Attaching your name to a product is called endorsement

Sure. And endorsement can be viewed as selling out. A company comes to you and says "We'll give you so much money if we can use your song in our diaper commercial" and you say "okee dokee gimmie the check", I'd say that's selling out.

The quality of the music has nothing to do with selling out. You can be the poster-child of suckitude, but if you believe in your music, you aren't a sell-out.
