Medium to Medium-well is good for me.

Rare. I like mine cooked just to the point where anything that could cause disease and/or infection dies, but nothing more. I like the blood just oozing out of it. As close to raw as possible, while still being healthy. Not only because you get more nutritional value out of it, but also because it tastes better.

Medium-rare. Juicy and fresh, yet so perfectly done.

    Thank you Hysterian!

Teriyaki marinated steak is divinely tasty and tender. One of those, pan-cooked for a few minutes per side, then served between two bread slices... simple but delicious. I also enjoy plain steak with sauce - barbecue, steak, or Worcester. Cajun spiced steak is tasty, too.
    I'm hungry now...
Yes. You people who complain about how all flavour is lost when you don't have any blood probably wouldn't know a good steak if it hit you in the face. I can't blame you, though - you can't get NZ steaks in every supermarket and I'm guessing they'd probably cost a fair bit in comparison to the others. Maybe if you stop buying crap steaks then you'll find that you can cook a steak to medium or well done, have no blood dripping off it and still have it tender and full of flavour. Especially if you get a marinated steak. Which really, you should be doing anyway, because no steak is a steak unless it's marinated.

Medium to well done. I can't stand the blood.

I tried a medium-rare one that my bf was having, and it tasted good but I couldn't get past the fact that if you squished it you could see like... red.... juicy... bloodish... stuff XD *ew*

See, it tastes great :p. Just don't care what it looks like and you'll be fine. Personally, I don't mind the blood at all

Medium rare-just seeing it be cut open-and then you see that little bit of pink! MMM! I can't wait to put my A1 all over it at that point!

You know, the blood is still there when it's medium of well done, it just isn't red and liquid.
