He didn't bother me. He was actually kinda fun to be around, he always brightened up everyones day.
And he saved the day in D-District prison when he (SPOILER)got everyone's weapons back

But anyway, it wasn't like I hated the characters in FFVIII, but I just didn't like any of them either. But Zell was a pretty cool character.

I noticed that he got offended extremely easy. Especially when Irvine first joined the group, and before the Dollet mission with Seifer. Seifer called him a "chickenwuss" and he freaks out. That's like Seifer saying "zomg u are pooperpants hahaha", and then Zell going crazy. It was stupid.

I thought Zell was really cool, some might dispute that he had a very 'one-minded' personality, but i dug it, and in fact was one of my favourites in the game.

I think he really grew up through the course of the game, actually. I liked him as a character in part because of that.

I thought he was all right. He kind of reminded me of myself at some spots.

He reminded me of a guy I knew in Jr. High school named Chris Adams. He was a loser, and he really bothered me. Luckily he broke his arm trying to do a really lame skateboarding trick, and it's provided my friends and I amusement to this very day. I didn't really like him because of the Chris Adams connection I made, but I appreciate his presence in Final Fantasy VIII, if only because if it were not for him "chicken wuss" may not have ever come to grace my insult bank.

Zell was cool. He was always molesting Squall though. I found that very interesting. Zell reminds me of this guy I used to be best friends with, who I also think might be gay (or at least bi) but he swears he's straight... we were cool until he started lying to me and lying about me and... well I'll just skip that part. So yeah, Zell is cool, and I like him!
