Ermm... depends on the music. If it's hiphop+techno, I breakdance or grind, if there's a babe nearby. If it's rockish, I usually don't really dance... Just socialize and mess around, maybe throw a stupid moshpit somewhere.

I don't really like any of the music that a person normally dances to, so it makes me not want to dance. I used to, though, and that was really fun for awhile. I was always really self-conscious, and I'd just do what my friends did. That consisted of...hip-moving, arm-moving...not a lot of leg movement. Ack, it's been too long.

I cannot just do the 'free' dancing that many people seem to do. Rather, I am stuck in the mold where if the song is right, and there is someone willing to follow my lead or knows the dance, I can do any of the following:

Cha Cha, Rumba, Salsa, Waltz, some of the swing (though I hate it), and some Tango

In other words, I need my girlfriend or a willing girl if my girlfriend so chooses to not take the dance.

By myself, I just tap my foot and observe others enjoying themselves.
