I think being tall has a few issues. I'm 6'4".

When you shop for a new car, there are a lot of cars you can't even consider because you don't fit comfortably in them. If you aren't careful, you can hit your head on things that a lot of people wouldn't. Neither of my couches is long enough for me to lay on comfortably. My feet also hang off the end of my bed, but I've become so used to this that it isn't a problem.

Being tall is overrated. A solid [strike]5'9"[/strike] 5'1'' is where it's at.

When I was tall for my age, the only advantage I can think of was having my yougner siblings be afraid of me. Yes I felt very powerful.

O yes, I bet you all have such a hard time being so tall. What with your superior muscle mass, faster movement, higher attractiveness to the opposite sex, lowered likelihood of drowning, extended lifetime and ability to navigate crowds without being pushed around constantly.

I am tall, about 6 foot. I often bash my head on things. But then again, im just clumsy.

Also, in the back seat of most cars, my head is against the ceiling

Being 5'7 in a society of people who arent even 5' is terrible. me and my tall friends always have to do everything for everyone like getting the papers and getting stuff from shelves.

I'm 5'11'', but my bet is that I will eventually be 6 feet or higher. I'm only 16, so I've got a long ways to go yet.

Advantages:
-People rarely try to push you around when you're taller than them.
-You have good acess to hard-to-reach objects.
-You will find certain sports easier.
- Lots of girls like tall guys. (I know, I know, I just had to say that...)

Disadvantages:
-Hitting your head is easy.
-Some tasks (such as riding in an airplane) can become claustrophobia-inducing.
-Clothes can be harder to find.
