Do you guys ever get 30x pendulums in order to upgrade armor to become master thief in chocobo racing in remiem temple? I'm suck at that race, Tell me how please... Because the maximum chest I can open is only two, and when I'm going to get three or four, I'm start getting to loose by that champ chob.

In a way you've answered your own question. You need to open four chests and not hit any poles to get the 30 Pendulums.

Alternate ways of getting them include:
- Defeating Neslug in the Monster Area (common drop, x1 (normal), x2 (Overkill))
- Bribing a Master Tonberry in the Omega Ruins (x3, 960,000 gil)
- Bribing Ultima Weapon in the Omega Ruins (x99, 1,400,000 gil)

Win the race (I don't know the conditions)

Defeat Shinryu, and it drops WoD, one for kill, two for overkill, 25% chance of the drop being Dark Matter
Bribe Marlboro for 540,000 for 3-5 (4)
Bribe Greater Marlboro for 1,280,000 for 6-10 (8)

I don't know the values for Int/PAL bribes, because it's so useless (the game version, not the item)

Capture at least 2 Splashers, 2 Achelous, and 2 Maelspikes from the waters of Mt. Gagazet and he'll be unlocked at the Monster Arena.
