what exactly is the whole point of reading all of the flyers. i see people talking about it all the time, yet no one can tell me their purpose. does anyone know, thanks.

When you've examined them all, you go talk to the barkeeper at Turtle's Paradise in Wutai. (One of them must be examined in the main office of the Shinra building in one of the two times you go there in the story.)

I think you get some Sources or something. Not too big a deal, but nice I suppose.

I'm pretty sure it's like Zero says... I don't think I've ever bothered to find them all though. Seems kind of like a hassle for a whole lot of nothing.

If memory serves, you get one of each source and a megalixer for the trouble. Not like there's a lot of trouble involved, you pass most of them anyway due to plotline.
