my own accent from the swamps of Louisiana. When I moved to California at the age of 18 no one could understand a word I was saying![]()
That's because Californians don't have accents and speak a pure form of English.

Whenever I talk to people they break out in laughter. It makes me think that I have told an extremely funny joke. But when I find out that it's just my accent they are laughing at I get sad.
I'm pretty bad when it comes to distinguishing accents. I can tell if someone is from the ways Ireland, England or Scotland; I can't pinpoint the exact location they are from, however.
This actually got me into a very embarrassing incident with a Fijian who I thought was Indian, which I won't go into too much detail of.
I do think that GregSolomon has a dreamy voice.
Funniest accent? Ahh, I have no idea. I like making fun of Australian accents, Japanese accents, Ebonics (though I don't know if you'll count that as an accent), Irish accents, and British accents. I think Hawaiian accents are cool though, and I'm kind of developing one. Watch, I'll sound a bit like Wakka from FFX.
Thank you Hysterian!
Virginians have funny accents. So do New Jeresy people. And Montanans.
Signature by rubah. I think.
Southwest cowboy accents are pretty funny![]()

Bostonians have weird accents to me. "Lemme go pok my ca."
Dudley accents just sound inherantly dense.
There is no signature here. Move along.
Is it just me, or are Scottish accents usually hilarious? Try talking to smittenkitten. She sounds really grown up.
Though, I don't really like my dull, boring Mancunian-sorta accent. There's not really much character to it. But that's probably because I don't talk with enthusiasm.
