Sure thing, I was hoping you could wite a fight or two for this round, but it seems there weren't that many match-ups that interested you. I'll give you a tally tonight so you can prepare for the next round.

Master Chief vs. the Prince
Written by Behold the Void

Of all of the known warriors in the universe, none seem quite as legendary as the great Master Chief. Tall, proud, clad in high tech battle armor that is absolutely state of the art. Master Chief is a fearless warrior, an expert gunman, able to perform great feats of strength and cunning. Truly he has no match.

Today, Master Chief is walking, nay, strutting across the field of battle. The world is his oyster, and he fears no challenge.

But wait! What’s that? In the horizon, it appears his next challenge has come. It looks like a large… ball of… stuff? What is this, some kind of joke? You pit the greatest warrior and star of the most popular gaming series in the world, nay the universe, against a wad of trash?

Look at Master Chief as he stands tall, drawing his guns and facing down the massive clump, not even caring that it’s picking up everything in its path.

Wait, hold on. You’re not serious. It’s… it’s picking up everything! That castle, that lake, that HILL! How do you pick up a lake!? Oh no, it’s coming here. Why!? Why aren’t the guns doing anything!? Run, Master Chief, RUN! It’s too much! It’s too much! Oh the humanity! Master Chief has been picked up by that great wad! Oh god it’s coming here! Run! Run everybody! We’re all doomed we’re all…

Epilogue:

Hmmm… what is this? A katamari you say? We think this could be bigger. You are the Prince. This katamari is hardly princely. Next time, we think you should try harder. But, I suppose this shall have to do. Even tiny stars have a place in the universe.

Yuna vs. Fei

A young man in a plain white shirt and green pants sat on a large tree looking up at the stars. He had short hair, save for a long ponytail, and his build was muscular.

As his attention was elsewhere, a young girl crept up on him. She had short brown hair, except for one extremely long ponytail that fell to her thighs. She wore a white shirt; open at the front and lacking any fabric above her far from modest bosom. She also wore a pair of shorts, and a long blue and white cloth that covered her left leg.

“Hey!” she yelled, knocking him out of his contemplation.

“I heard you had some treasure!”

The man looked up at her, annoyance stamped across his features.

“I don’t have anything. Go away and leave me alone.”

“Awww, come on,” she said in a wheedling tone. “I’ve been looking all night and I’m tired!”

She placed a great emphasis on the last word, causing the man’s face to grow yet more annoyed.

“I don’t have anything for you! Go away!” he said, almost yelling.

The girl’s face grew petulant.

“Fei Fong Wong, I know you have some treasure and I’m not going to leave until you hand it over!”

“Get lost!” Fei shouted, a ball of energy forming in his hands. He hurled it in her general direction, much in the way someone would hurl a warning attack that wasn’t really meant to kill.

The girl yelped and dodged to the side.

“Ohhh I’ll get you for that! Nobody messes with Yuna of the Gullwings!”

Yuna drew two guns and twirled them around, firing several shots at Fei.

This time Fei responded, jumping from his spot with a curse and dodging aside.

”What the hell are you doing!?” he demanded.

“Give me my treasure!” Yuna yelled, firing several more shots.

“I don’t have time for this,” Fei said exasperatedly. “Weltall!”
Fei leapt into the air as a massive blue humanoid robot landed behind him and knelt before him, its cockpit opening up.

As he entered the cockpit, the robot straightened.

“You’ve got five seconds to get the hell out of here before I turn you into a bloody smear!” he yelled through the intercom.

Yuna looked up at the robot in awe for a moment, until Fei started counting.

“One!”

Yuna blanched and fled, nearly stumbling over her feet as she ran.

Ryu vs. chaos

Two figures entered a domed arena. One was a young man in an orange and blue space suit. His hair was white and his skin was tanned, his demeanor was calm and composed, even serene.

The other was a man of about the same age. He had a white shirt and blue pants, and he held a sword easily in his right hand.

Nodding respectfully to each other, both assumed a fighting stance.

“Ryu of the Dragon,” the white-haired man said. “It is good to meet you.”

“Likewise, chaos,” Ryu replied. “Let’s make this a good match.”

For several tense seconds they faced off, until, almost as one, they both launched themselves at each other.

chaos came in low, lowering his hand and releasing a burst of white energy. Ryu jumped to the side and rolled on the ground, dodging the blast and coming up with his sword at the ready. Without pausing, chaos surged forward, huge feathery wings appearing on his back. A ball of ice formed in his hands and he beat his wings once, thrusting himself into the air. Raising the ball of ice, he hurled it at Ryu, the ball growing bigger as it flew towards him.

Ryu looked up at the incoming ball without fear, and his body began to grow and change. Just before the ball hit, a burst of flame shot forth from where Ryu had been standing, melting the ball of ice.

A massive red dragon stood where Ryu had been just moments before. Flexing the wings on its back, it hurled itself into the air.

chaos flew down to meet the oncoming threat, light gathering around his arms. Both combatants met with a loud clash, before exchanging blows in midair.

The dragon’s claws came in low, overreaching. Sensing an opening, chaos thrust his hand forward, only to be knocked aside as a huge lashing tail bat him out of the way and sent him hurtling downward.

Without pausing, the dragon folded its wings and shot down like an arrow, pursing chaos’ falling body. Just as chaos stretched his wings to right himself, the dragon pounced, raking its claws along the wings and pulling him down to the ground.

Both fighters hit the ground with a heavy thud, sending dust flying. As it cleared, chaos stood on the ground, his wings bloody and his face battered. Ryu stood over him with his sword pointed at his throat, smiling slightly.

Cloud vs. Ryu.

A blonde, spikey-haired man in black clothing and carrying a massive sword strapped to his back wandered aimlessly through the streets. His face was expressionless, almost dazed, and he didn’t seem to really know where he was.

“Hey.”

He kept walking.

“Hey you. Spike-head!”

He turned to see a muscular man in a white gi with a black belt and red headband standing in front of him.

“You look pretty strong. You really know how to use that sword?”

“Yeah,” the blonde man said noncommittally.

“You interested in a fight? I’m always looking for strong opponents,” the martial artist said.

The blonde seemed taken aback for a moment, before smiling slightly.

“Sure, why not?” he asked. “Sounds like fun.”

“That’s the spirt!” the martial artist said with a smile. “By the way, I’m Ryu. What’s your name?”

“Cloud,” the blonde answered.

“All right then, Cloud. Let’s go!”

Almost before Cloud could unsheathe his sword, Ryu was upon him, spinning through the air and releasing several successive kicks.

Cloud jumped back and brought his sword up into a guard stance. Ryu followed through with two swift punches, both of which Cloud blocked with the flat of his blade.

Pushing forward, Cloud brought his sword around in a wide arc. Ryu easily jumped over the blade and kicked out, landing a solid blow to Cloud’s face that sent him sprawling.

“Too slow!” he said, barely allowing his feet to touch the ground again before he leapt high into the air. He clenched his hands together behind his back, keeping them in Cloud’s blind spot.

Cloud jumped to his feet and brought his sword up, slashing at Ryu again as Ryu fell towards him.

“HADOKEN!” Ryu shouted, unleashing a burst of ki energy that hurled itself at Cloud. Cloud’s eyes widened as the blast slammed into him, knocking him to the ground.

Using the momentum of his hadoken, Ryu nimbly landed on his feet several meters away from where Cloud had fell. He recovered to his fighting stance, and waited.

Cloud burst forward, his eyes glowing and his sword swinging with a succession of swift slashes.

Ryu jumped in the air, flipping over Cloud as Cloud surged forward. Unable to stop the momentum of his attack, Cloud kept moving forward as Ryu clenched his hands together again.

“HADOKEN!”

The blast of energy struck Cloud in the back and sent him flying forward, the momentum of his attack helping it blast him into a nearby house.

Cloud lay sprawled the wreckage completely dazed, and did not stand again for quite some time.
