You can also use Triangle to skip them altogether.

Here's a good question, how did you win the game without limit breaks? Lionheart is almost essential against the final boss.

I actually was confused about Limits and Boost myself when I first played the game, but then again, I didn't know how to learn abilities in FFIX until Disc Three.

U kno, if u get rid of all of Rinoa's magic and draw Meteors and if u hav the Limit Break Angel Wing, it will cause the most damage in the game if Rinoa doesn't die...
