    Yea..that would be cool if they made a second ff8...Maybe with laguna maybe..or maybe edea gave birth to an unholy child with cid? Just a thought...

    Do you all seriously think that if they made those three characters the mains, they would dress EXACTLY the same, and look exactly the same, with no changes to the battle system or look of the game? Be real now.
    THAT WAS SOOO COOL!!! It makes me all excited, even if it wasn't for a real sequel.

    I'm not sure I want a sequel though. I know I'll be REALLY excited and DEFINETLY buy it, [considering FFVIII is my FAVORITE game ] but I don't want a sequel to ruin the way I feel about the original game.

    Instead, I think Square should do a remake, or a prequel with us as Laguna on PS2 or PS3. I think that would be SOOO AWESOME!!! :kaohappy2

    LoL. Somewhere, squall loses 2/3rds of his neck. The artwork is comletely horrid. I looks like they used stills from Scarface and other movies and moded them to look final fantasy -ish. Ewe.

    Much prefer this take on VIII-2.

    Addendum: Found the rest of them. Much prefer this take on the gunblade too.

    OMG you're right, Squall & Rinoa look TERRIBLE!!! lol Seifer looks exactly the same though...:rolleyes2

    I think a sequel of FFVIII should only be made if they keep a junction system and old systems the same.

    Even as much as I love FFVIII however, I don't think a sequel should be made. I've got the original and all the memories from playing it, don't need a new one coming along and changing my entire outlook on it.

    I saw this same site and at first I thought "What the heck!" Then I read the german and noticed it wasn't (I have taken 2 years of German.) It would be a pretty cool idea though.

    fake, why would they make a FF8- 2 when they already are upp to 12? like i dont think square enix will go back to final fantasy 8 and think of FF8-2....

    Personally I think it looks like it could be an official picture. I'd be really excited to play FFVIII-2. The only thing is I can't see this leaking and SE not commenting on it to either confirm or deny it. Really interesting picture.
