"Praying" about something before you do it is also a form of meditation, to get your mind in focus on what you're about to do. It's a healthy thing to do, whether you're religious or not.
While it's true that you need to put the effort in by yourself to do something successfully, knowing that you have several people praying for you is encouraging.
That said, you have a lot of encouragement here on these forums. Do your best .

Be sure to study hard! I'm not a religious kinda guy, and I'm not really good at praying, so I'll give you some tips:
Focus! Make sure you stay calm. If you get too upset, your mind will be set on your anger. Staying calm is one prong on the key.
Make sure you do it! Lazyness will get you nowhere. You must be sure to not get yourself too distracted in other things! This is the second prong of the key.
The Third Prong is simple. Be sure to check your work once you're done.
I will keep my fingers crossed for you, but pray? I don't do that stuff.
I am absent of the faith in God or any other religion; however, I do, in all seriousness and sincerity, wish you the best of luck. Study thoroughly, have persenverance, and always keep that goal within your sight and grasp. You do this, and surely you will reach your goal.

EDIT: You ought to make a new thread for when you pass, that way, for all you prayed, they will know their requests were granted, most notably your own. And also for all of us that have a different faith or are absent of one, we will know that our thoughts and wishes weren't for naught.

Good luck to you son, I was sh*tin my self during the days before my Histroy AS, just get yrself a sik revision style on the go e.g. stick sticky notes all over stuff like milk bottles and stuff-- that kinda works
