    Default Audio Issues

    I have just recently installed a new copy of Microsoft XP onto my computer, wiping out all previous files(repairing didn't work). The problem is the sound won't work, apparently there are 'no mixer devices availible'. I have tryed to add to get it to work by using the add new hardware system, but it can't find anything thats not already installed. Help, please.

    You probably need drivers for your sound card. If you don't have a CD with drivers on it, look up the kind of card you have and try to find its drivers online. Often the manufacturer's website will have them available for download.
