not having a race of people in a game is not being racist thatis like saying why on the brady bunch didn't they have a black child

also the way someone talks does not effect the person in a way that should be considered racist

Technically, Barret isn't even a stereotype. He is what he is. Stereotyping is when you make assumptions about other people based on what someone else does.

So, if you saw a black person walking down the street and make the assumption that he must have a gun arm, then you are stereotyping based on the Barret's character. Barret is not a stereotype, however, he may fall into the stereotype that you already have in your head about what a black person is or how they act.

Oh and by the way. If you looked at Barret's character and said "Oh he's a stereotypically black man", that my friends, is being racist.

I have never read anywhere that height was a factor in being Aryan. It is always, Blue eyes(check), white skinned(check) and Blond hair(check). Cloud fits them all.

2) Why do black people run around calling each other nigga and stuff? Its racist yet is still done. Don't ask me why square was being racist.

From this comment I can guess that you probaly don't live around or know many black people and take everything you know from media with black people and stereotype it to all. How about I say all middle eastern people have trouble speaking english, whites are proper talking rich happy go lucky people, or that all asians talk in short detached statements. I'm pretty sure everybody in the race doesn't sound like that. Saying the n word isn't racists depending on the context in which you use the word, let me explain.

1. Nigger is the racists spelling of the word.

2. If I'm looking at someone acting stupid or ignorant one might say he or she is acting like a nigga as in stop acting ignorant especially in the wrong place (such as a place of business or in someones home).

3. Many blacks do use the word as a pronoun as in "That nigga". This is not racists, because well, for the most part see my anology below.Many older black people and some younger don't like younger generations using the word.

4. Many blacks don't like it when people of other races use the word an anology of why is let's say you have a family you hate it when your people in your do and acts like such and such so you might say some things about them but if anyone else says anything negative about the family you get offended. That happens with this volaitile word because of its past misuse. If you are black its like you are apart of the family like I said in my analogy so you use the word to say certain things but you wouldn't like other people to say the same thing.

5. Personally I don't care if someone of anothr race says the word as long as they don't mean it in an offensive context.

Lastly Duncan, Barret is a stereotype because he is a character based on the cliched viewpoint of how blacks are potrayed in the media. Thinking this does not make me racists. Its like if you see someone with glasses as a character and he's really smart. Thats a stereotype that appears in most movies. If you wear glasses you have to be somewhat nerdy and smart.
