National 'Kidnap Penguins' Day

Have you ever taken part in one of these 'National' days? Perhaps something slightly more obscure, or even as an in-joke?

This year I took part in Towel Day (25th May) to commemorate Douglas Adams and while I got lots of questiosn about why I was carrying around a towel with me, it was actually rather fun and intend to make this a tradition.

Hmm... I've always wanted a pet penguin

I only take part in national smackass day (Friday) and now I can only spank myself... my character on Soul Calibur 3 spanks herself when she wins. It's quite funny.
