    Default DVD File Extension

    Edit: Kay well, Spatty and Roogle helped me with that one in chat, but i'd still like to know of any DVD ripping programs that rip from DVD to AVI or MPEG and stuff like that.

    Well, there's a big problem with commercial DVDs. All of them are encrypted against ripping, and the programs that have been made to decrypt the copy protection are technically illegal, so relatively difficult to track down. And once you've gotten that far, well, I just don't remember any tools that I've heard of to help rip xD Maybe someone else can help with that.
